Abstract

This is a great opportunity to hear Josh Bloch's JavaOne conference talk. On June 19th Josh Bloch will reprise his, with Neal Gafter, JavaOne talk entitled "Programming Puzzlers." This talk "sold out" at JavaOne, filling up the hall and two overflow rooms. Don't miss it!

Joshua Bloch and Neal Gafter (AKA "Click and Hack, the type-it brothers") will present ten programming puzzles for your entertainment and enlightenment. The game show format will keep you on your toes while the puzzles teach you about the subtleties of the Java programming language and its core libraries.

Anyone with a working knowledge of the language will be able to understand the puzzles, but even the most seasoned veterans will be challenged. The lessons you take from this session will be directly applicable to your programs and designs. Some of the jokes may even be funny.
