Abstract

This presentation will be oriented toward developers and users of the World Wide Web. In it, Dan Shafer will outline the major trends he sees ahead for the coming year. It will include his thoughts on such issues as: eCommerce, bandwidth availability and use, user interface design, crossover between the Web as brochureware and the Web as an application space, VRML, and other trends emerging.

This is one of Dan's best-received presentations. It should be fast-paced, up-to-the-minute, and often humorous.
