At the conclusion of the presentation, attendees should understand the basics of PKI, and how this new paradigm in security could be used to secure their applications.
Steve Beck is the Director of Professional Services Development at Entegrity Solutions. He has more than 15 years of architecture experience; designing, implementing, and managing the development of complex information systems, including more than 5 years in the security engineering industry. He designed, developed, and installed three www prototype applications, including a secure corporate intranet, a secure on-line trading system, and a secure business-to-business order processing and fulfillment system, using smart cards, public key cryptography, digital certificates, and digital signatures. He received a BS in Computer Science from Brown University, and MS in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
